AI-Assisted Software Development
Better, faster, and cheaper.
Senior engineers directing teams of AI agents. Sprints measured in hours, not weeks.
Every project is led by a senior software engineer who directs a team of AI development agents. You pay the engineer's rate only for the engineer's hours — the AI agents that build, test, and audit in parallel bill at a fraction of the cost.
Senior Software Engineer
Full hourly rate
Architecture, direction, code review, and hands-on end-to-end verification. A senior engineer is accountable for every line that ships.
AI Development Agents
A fraction of the engineer rate
Implementation, tests, parallel audits, migrations, and documentation — billed only for actual agent working time, at a much lower rate.
The Output of a Whole Team
Without the whole-team invoice
Ten agents working in parallel cost ten low-rate hours — not ten senior-engineer hours. Itemized invoices show exactly where every hour went.
Every application we deliver also includes our 💡 Continuous Improvement pipeline — your users file ideas and bug reports right inside the app, and improvements routinely ship the same day.
Our Services
AI-assisted development and consulting services — engineer-led, agent-accelerated
AI-Assisted Custom Development
Flagship Service
A senior engineer directs AI agent teams to build your web apps, portals, and enterprise systems — dual-rate billing means you get whole-team output at a fraction of whole-team cost.
Continuous Improvement Pipeline
Included With Every App
Your users click the idea button, file bugs and feature requests, and watch them ship — with a public roadmap, changelog, and "your idea shipped" emails.
The 24-Hour SDLC
How Every Project Runs
No scrum masters, no sprints, no bi-weekly meetings. The two-week cycle is now 24 hours — every iteration documented in git, tested automatically with screenshots, billed line-by-line.

Why LeoTech
If your development agency bills you by the hour and won't tell you how they use AI, ask yourself a hard question: whose hours are you actually paying for?
Let's say the quiet part out loud
AI has made software development ten times more efficient — often far more. Work that took a team a week in 2022 takes a day now. Boilerplate, tests, integrations, documentation — the machine does it in minutes. Every agency knows this. Most of them are using AI right now, on your project.
So here's the question that matters: where did those savings go?
If your agency quotes you 40 hours at a full senior rate, lets AI do the work in 4, and bills you the 40 anyway — that's not "keeping up with the market." That's not "protecting their margins." That is fraud. Billing for hours of human labor that were never worked is an intentional misrepresentation made for financial gain — which is, quite literally, the definition of fraud.
The industry's dirty secret
Agencies have pocketed the AI dividend. Rates didn't drop. Timelines barely moved. Estimates still assume 2022-era human effort, while delivery quietly runs on 2026-era AI. The efficiency gain — 10x or better — became pure margin, and the client who funded the work never saw a penny of it.
Nobody sends an invoice that says "40 hours (AI did 36 of them)." That silence is the business model.
Four questions that make agencies squirm
- "Do you use AI on my project?" (If the answer is no, they're either lying or leaving your money on the table.)
- "How many of the hours you bill me are human hours?"
- "Will you itemize human time and AI time separately on my invoice?"
- "When AI makes a task 10x faster, does my bill get 10x smaller?"
We built LeoTech so that our answer to all four is on the pricing page, in writing.
What honest AI-assisted billing looks like
- Two rates, in the open: a senior engineer's rate for genuine human hours, and a fraction of that rate for AI agent working time. You pay for what actually happened.
- Line-item truth: every invoice ties every hour — human or AI — to the specific feature it served. You can audit us to the task.
- The savings are yours: when agents do a week's work in a day, your bill shrinks accordingly. The 10x belongs to the person paying for it.
- A retainer that drains honestly: you watch it draw down against itemized, verifiable work — not vibes.
We believe technologists carry fiduciary responsibilities, the same as any highly skilled profession. That's not a slogan — it's the reason this company's billing model exists.
Compare us against your current agency: see the two rates or watch the pipeline run — then ask your agency the four questions.
How We Work
LeoTech builds software with a model that wasn't possible until now: one senior engineer directing a team of AI development agents. The engineer does what only an engineer can do — architecture, judgment, review, and verification. The agents do everything mechanical — implementation, tests, audits, documentation — in parallel, around the clock, at a fraction of the rate.
The Team Model
On a traditional project, every hour is a senior-rate hour: writing boilerplate, wiring APIs, writing tests, updating docs. On a LeoTech project, those hours move to AI agents billed at a much lower rate, and the engineer's time is spent only where judgment matters:
- The engineer: understands your business, designs the architecture, directs the agents, reviews every change, and personally drives the finished feature end-to-end before it ships. Nothing goes live on "the tests passed" — the engineer watches the real workflow succeed.
- The agents: build features in parallel, write and run tests, audit each other's work for bugs, security issues, and UI consistency, and produce documentation — many of them working at once.
The Continuous Improvement Pipeline
Every application we deliver ships with our 💡 idea pipeline built in. It turns every user of your software into a product manager, and it's how our clients' software keeps getting better every week instead of rotting after launch:
💡 Your users click the idea button
An idea button sits in the app on every page. Any user can file a bug report or feature request in seconds — automatically tagged with the page they were on. They can browse everyone's requests, upvote them, and watch a public Now / Next / Later roadmap.
Fast, honest triage
Requests move through clear statuses — Open, Under Review, Accepted for Development, In Progress, Completed — with honest answers like Declined or Duplicate when that's the truth. Submitters see status changes in the app.
The high-speed build loop
Accepted items go straight into AI-assisted development: the engineer scopes the change, agents implement and test it in parallel, and the engineer verifies the real workflow end-to-end. Small items routinely ship the same day they're accepted.
The loop closes automatically
When a request ships, the person who filed it gets an email telling them their idea is live, and the change is recorded on the app's changelog — every fix and feature, dated and linked to the request that drove it.
Transparent, Itemized Billing
Every invoice separates engineer hours from agent hours, task by task. Agent time is billed for actual working time — when ten agents each work an hour in parallel, that's ten low-rate hours, not ten senior-rate hours. You see exactly where every hour of both kinds went, and exactly why the total is a fraction of what a traditional team would have billed for the same output.
Want to see it applied to your project?
See the rates or get in touch — we'll estimate your project in engineer hours and agent hours so you can compare.
Pricing
Two hourly rates. No retainers required, no seat licenses, no surprises — every invoice comes with an itemized log of exactly who (and what) worked, on what, for how long.
The Two Rates
| Line item | What it covers | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Senior Software Engineer | Requirements, architecture, agent direction, code review, end-to-end verification, and working directly with you | $120 / hr |
| AI Development Agents | Implementation, test writing, parallel audits, migrations, documentation — billed on actual agent working time | $10 / hr |
What a Project Looks Like
An example feature that would take a traditional shop roughly 40 senior-rate hours:
| Traditional team | LeoTech AI-assisted | |
|---|---|---|
| Engineer hours | 40 hrs × $120 = $4,800 | 8 hrs × $120 = $960 |
| AI agent hours | — | 30 hrs × $10 = $300 |
| Calendar time | ~2 weeks | ~2–3 days |
| Total | $4,800 | $1,260 |
Same deliverable, verified end-to-end by a senior engineer either way — at roughly a quarter of the cost and a fraction of the calendar time. Real ratios vary by project; your estimate is always broken out in both kinds of hours before we start.
Retainer Billing
Engagements run on a retainer: you put one down, and development draws against it as work ships. Every draw is backed by the itemized hours log — engineer hours and agent hours, tied to each individual feature and activity — so you always know where the retainer stands and exactly what it bought. The unused balance is always yours.
What's Always Included
- Itemized hours log with every invoice — engineer hours and agent hours as separate lines, per task.
- The 💡 Continuous Improvement pipeline — built into every application we deliver, so improvements keep shipping after launch.
- Engineer-verified delivery — nothing is "done" until the engineer has driven the real workflow end-to-end and watched it work.
- Your code, your ownership — work products belong to you on payment, as they always have.

The New SDLC
Agile isn't agile anymore. Somewhere along the way it became ceremonies: scrum masters, standups, sprint planning, retros, bi-weekly cadences — a process that burns weeks before anyone writes the code you asked for. We did away with all of it.
The two-week sprint is now a 24-hour cycle
A change request that used to wait for the next sprint now moves through scoping, build, automated testing, verification, and deployment in about a day. Not because anyone works harder — because AI agents work in parallel and nothing waits for a meeting.
| Traditional agile | The LeoTech SDLC |
|---|---|
| Two-week sprints; your request waits for the next one | 24-hour build cycles; accepted requests start immediately |
| Scrum masters, standups, sprint planning, retros, bi-weekly status meetings | No ceremonies. One senior engineer talks to you directly when there's something to decide |
| Progress reported in meetings and slide decks | Progress visible in the pipeline: every request has a live status your whole team can see |
| Documentation written later, if ever | Every change and iteration documented in the git repository as it happens |
| Manual QA passes at the end of the sprint | Fully automated test suites on every change — with screenshots of the app actually working |
| Hours estimated up front, reconciled never | Line-item time tracking tied to each individual feature and activity, on every invoice |
What you get with every project
- A git repository that tells the whole story — every change and iteration committed with context, so nothing lives in someone's head.
- Fully automated testing with screenshots — every cycle ends with the test suite green and screenshots of the real application doing the real workflow.
- Architectural documentation — kept current as the system evolves, not written after the fact.
- Investor-ready material — decks and technical summaries you can put in front of a board or an investor without a rewrite.
- Line-item accountability — every hour, engineer or agent, tied back to the specific feature or activity it served.
Retainer billing
We work on a simple retainer: you put down a retainer, and we bill against it as development progresses. Every draw is backed by the itemized hours log — engineer hours and agent hours, per feature — so you always know exactly where the retainer stands and what it bought. No lock-in, no surprise invoices, and the unused balance is always yours.

Meet the Founder
Roger W. Leonard
Founder — Pioneer of AI-Assisted Software Delivery
Roger has spent more than 13 years as a software developer, database architect, and technology leader — the deep engineering foundation that most AI enthusiasts are missing. What sets him apart is what he did with it: while the industry was still debating whether AI could write real software, Roger was mastering how to direct it — building the orchestration systems, verification loops, and delivery discipline that turn AI agents into a dependable engineering team.
Out of that work came something bigger than a productivity gain: a replacement for the traditional software development lifecycle itself. Roger created the continuous improvement process this company runs on — no sprints, no ceremonies, no waiting. End users file ideas and bug reports from inside the product, accepted work flows straight into a 24-hour build cycle where AI agents implement, test, and audit in parallel under a senior engineer's direction, every iteration lands documented in the git repository with automated tests and screenshots, and the person who asked gets an email when their idea ships to production. What used to be a two-week sprint is now a day, and every hour — human or AI — is accounted for on the invoice.
That process isn't a pitch deck; it's how dozens of production systems have been built and are improved every week — multi-tenant business platforms, CRMs, industry management systems, AI-powered search and conversation products, and real-time interactive experiences serving users in the US and UK.
"Technologists carry fiduciary responsibilities commensurate with any highly skilled profession." That conviction is why LeoTech bills the way it does.
